As you may know, the governor lever works on tention on a spring, which moves the butterfly valve very little. If you want to move a control valve to control the flow with the governor, you might think about putting the carb back on like lutherp40 mentioned. Great vid. I like what your doing.
I think you are right. After t did all that it made me think in a different way. But i had to learn how everything was going to work. I think that is what i am going to do. I will need to make a small adapter from motor to carburetor for air with a small butter fly valve. To work with the regulator. Thanks for the input.
Yes … when the valve is open that is full throttle. When it is full throttle it gives me about 245 volts ac. When the throttle is about 1/4 of the way it will give me 120 ac. That is where i need to keep the generator. Yes… I will probuly build another valve that can control the gas. Right now the govenor is just controlling air. But keeps the motor stable. It is completely backwards from normal thinking. I have learned so much in the past week. It just gives me new ideas. Thanks…
when you are opening that valve all the way like that, is that full operating RPM?
If so, are you going to rearrange your setup so the governor operates that function?
Have you put water in with the fuel yet??
Keep up the good work!
